Who I am

Digital Visualizations is not the name of a company, it's what I do. I am Peter Newbery, and I have grown up and grown wise learning and using digital technologies to help designers realize their visions. I have worked with graphic designers, web designers, product designers, architects, and mathematicians.

What I do

I produce digitally created visualizations of exterior and interior 3D spaces for designers. I aid them in their creative process as well as provide accurate visual images to help convey to their clients how their final designs will look.

How I do it

1. Obtain design information from the designer. (Most commonly this is in the form of a CAD file).
2. Build out an accurate 3D model to the level of detail required by the visualization.
3. Set the camera and lights and textures and materials, and add any supporting assets, such as people, plantings, cars, etc.
4. Quick-render the scene to verify that all elements are correctly modeled and all lighting and materials are properly adjusted.
5. Fully render the visualization and perform any post processing.

This process is iterative in order to accommodate changes in design and allow the work to quickly focus in on accurately portraying the designer's intent. Communication by email and or phone with file exchange via dropbox helps ensure that the work is on time and on target.
